World Champs: ProSiebenSat.1 TV Creative Solutions Takes 24 PromaxBDA World Awards for Design and Promotion
Unterföhring, June 27, 2010 Eight gold, ten silver and six bronze the PromaxBDA World Awards in Los Angeles from June 22 to 24 yielded a near-truckload of awards in Design, Promotion and Marketing for our in-house agency Creative Solutions.
There were five gold PromaxBDA Design Awards:
- in the Art Direction & Design: PSA (public service announcement) category, for ProSiebenSat.1 TV Germanys extraordinary Geh wählen! campaign to get out the vote for the Bundestag elections,
- in the Video-based Web Site Promotion category, for The Lipstick promotion for the ProSieben series Lipstick Jungle,
- in the Online Advertising Banner/Skyscrapers category, for the Car Jump banner ad for the kabel eins series Mein Mann, sein Hobby und ich,
- and two gold medals for outside productions by Creative Solutions, in Logo Design and General Entertainment Bumper, both for the redesign of Dubai channel MBC MAX.
The team also took home gold PromaxBDA Promotion and Marketing Awards:
- two gold awards in the Program Package Marketing Campaign and Dramatic Program Campaign categories for the Help me! integrated campaign for the ProSieben series Fringe, and
- one in the General Entertainment Program Promotion category, for the Homerpage for The Simpsons on ProSieben.
Campaigns that picked up silver awards included the ProSieben STAR FORCE spot with Robbie Williams, and the N24 print ads for the Warum image campaign dealing with questions about peace, climate conferences, and violence among youth. Bronze winners include the ProSieben campaign for Casino Royale and the campaign for the ProSieben games platform SevenGames.de.
Markan Karajica, Senior Vice President Central Marketing & Creative Solutions, and Richard Schweiger, Vice President Creation, were delighted at such a big haul: Walking away from an international competition with 24 awards is really an extraordinary achievement, and were very proud of it. Weve proved our strategic and creative capabilities once again. Were delighted to have made such a good showing not just in classic categories like Design, Promotion and Integrated Campaigns, but in new media categories as well.
